ToS and why we should actually read them
e. Chapter 5 - Page 226 – Complete BLOG exercise #1. You will add this blog post to your final project blog. The one that begins “Carefully Read the Terms of Service…”

Carefully read the Terms of Service and privacy policy for a social network on which you have an account. What does it say about how they will use your information? What will they do if there's a breach in their security on their site? Write a blog post summarizing your findings.

This is one of my homework assignments. It's one of those questions that makes you think, but then ToS of most site's always makes me just a bit irritated. I'm not going to repeat all of their 'rules' and things, but basically, when you sign up for Facebook you're giving them rights to everything you put on there. If they change their rules just a bit, they can use our images, or anything we post as ads to others (our friends). Even if you delete your Facebook account, its near impossible to remove everything - you'd have to contact every friend who has ever posted, or tagged, or used anything of yours, ever, to remove it. I try to explain this to my daughter (she's 16) that anything you put on the internet is pretty much there forever, but well, we know how teens can be. I used to work in a credit fraud department of a large company, the amount of information you can find on someone can be quite staggering to those who don't keep a tight lid on it. Prospective employers look at Facebook too, I know, I took part in finding people for exactly that! Anyway...back on track, If there's a security breach on their site, yeah, they'll alert us, the users, but that's about it. We are responsible for out internet identity and more people need to take it a bit more serious.

Something sweet is coming!
So this blog is going to be a bit different than the store blog, which I'll link at a later time. For the first couple posts, you'll have to deal with me also doing my college class work! The blog may be a bit off while I experiment and play with settings. So you've been warned. I'll try to keep it all on track in the rest of the blog body though, I promise.
Alright, so those of you that follow me on my store blog, may or may not have heard me squeak about something I've been dreaming up. Now while the details are not finalized, follow this blog to find out whats going on!
Now, I'm still working on the logo. This is a trial logo, in progress sort of thing.
